Welcome to the Materials Thailand 2020. The conference will be held in Pattaya, Thailand from December 1st – 4th, 2020. This is the first joint conference between Asian Meetings of Ferroelectrics (AMF) & Electroceramics (AMEC) and International Conference on Materials Science and Technology (MSAT). This international conference brings together leaders from academia, national laboratories and industrial research and development sectors. The purposes are to discuss the most recent advancements in materials science and technology, material processing and characterization, as well as the development of new applications and devices.
AMF (The Asian Meeting on Ferroelectricity) is a series of biennial meetings endorsed by the Asian Ferroelectric Association (AFA). This conference has been emerged as a strong body of scientists and engineers on ferroelectric basics and its applications, existing for more than two decades. The first Asian Meeting on Ferroelectrics (AMF-1), initiated by Prof. Xi Yao, was held in Xi’an-China in 1995. Then, the meetings were organized in Singapore (1998, AMF-2), Hong Kong-China (2000, AMF-3), Bangalore,-India (2003, AMF-4), Noda-Japan (2006, AMF-5), Chinese Taipei (2008, AMF-6), Jeju-Korea (2010, AMF-AMEC-7) and Pattaya-Thailand (2012, AMF-8), Shanghai-China (2014, AMF-AMEC-9), New Delhi-India (2016, AMF-10) and Hiroshima-Japan (2018, AMF-11).
AMF is one of the most renowned international events on the ferroelectricity, which gathers physicists, chemists, electronic scientists and industry engineers from universities, institutes and industries from Asian region as well as the other parts of the world. The meeting aims to discuss the progress in ferroelectrics, electroceramics, and passive devices, including a broad spectrum of basic principles, materials processing and characterization, and various applications. AMF has witnessed the fast-growing community and the research activities in Asian in last two decades. The meeting will continue this thriving trends of the Asian Ferroelectricity Community.
AMEC (The Asian Meeting on Electroceramics) is an international conference that brings together physicists, chemists, electronic scientists, and industrial engineers from academics and industries from Asian region as well as the other parts of the world. The conference emphasizes on the discussion and exchange on knowledges about the cutting-edge of electroceramics and passive devices. The first two conferences of the Asian Meeting on Electroceramics (AMEC-1 and AMEC-2) were held in Kawasaki-Japan in 2000 and 2001, then followed by biennial meetings in different Asian countries: Singapore (AMEC-3, 2003), Hangzhou-China (AMEC-4, 2015), Bangkok-Thailand (AMEC-5, 2006), Tsukuba-Japan (AMEC-6, 2008), Jeju-Korea (AMEC-7, 2010), Penang-Malaysia (AMEC-8, 2012), Shanghai-China (AMEC-9, 2014) and Taipei-Taiwan (AMEC-10, 2016).
MSAT (International Conference on Materials Science and Technology) is recognized as one of the major series of bi-annual conference organized by the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) since 2000. The conference strives to be an international multidisciplinary conference. The purposes of the conference are to provide an arena for stakeholders from academia, research institutes and industry to share their latest findings, to discuss novel applications and to identify the challenges that lie at the frontier of materials science.
